Clearing and delivery services for ELX Futures, L.P. will be provided by The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), the world's largest derivatives clearing organization. This relationship between ELX and OCC ensures competitiveness and allows ELX to keep trading costs low while providing financial integrity through OCC's
'AAA' credit rating
. OCC also offers capabilities to support ELX's electronic trading of US Interest Rate futures and accommodates ELX's plans to launch new products on its next-generation trading platform.
A firm must be a futures eligible clearing member of OCC to become an ELX participant. If a firm is already a futures eligible OCC member, the firm can contact its current vendors to ensure the firm is set up to connect to ELX. For more information on how to become a clearing member, please visit:
